Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a type of alternative medicine that emphasizes physical manipulation. It is a manual therapy that aims to balance and improve health across all body systems allowing equilibrium with a focus on the joints, muscles, and spine. Sessions aim to positively affect the body's nervous, circulatory, and respiratory systems.
Osteopathy takes a holistic, whole-body approach to healthcare. The Osteopath does not concentrate only on the problem area but uses a variety of manual techniques to balance all the body systems and to provide overall good health and well-being. The Osteopath searches to eliminate the pressures of the nerves, arteries, and veins by correcting the positions of bones by working the fascia, ligaments, membranes, and muscles. Techniques include stretching, gentle pressure, and resistance.
CranioSacral Therapy
CST is a light touch, hands-on technique used to examine cranial bones, membranes, and movement of the fluids in and around the central nervous system. With gentle manipulation of the bones in the skull, spine, and pelvis, the flow of cerebrospinal fluid in the central nervous system can be normalized, which enhances the body’s ability to heal. These structures and fluids protect, support, and nourish the brain and spinal cord. Relieving tension in the central nervous system promotes well-being by eliminating pain and boosting health and immunity.
Kinesiotaping
Kinesio tape is used to support and relieve pain in muscles, joints, and ligaments. It reduces swelling, increases mobility, and enhances recovery. When applied correctly the tape lifts the skin, decompressing the layers of fascia, allowing for greater movement of lymphatic fluid. Kinesio Tape can be used to prevent or treat many common muscle, joint, and sports-related injuries. It provides support and pain relief before, during, and/or after an activity or sports game.
Cupping Therapy
Cupping therapy is a form of alternative Medicine. In which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. Cupping increases blood circulation to the area promoting healing with blood flow. It help with pain, inflammation, deep tissue release, and sports injuries.
